According to Dorothy Chandler, R.N., President of the International Association of Colon Therapists, colon hydrotherapy is a safe, effective method of removing waste from the large intestine without the use of drugs.

At Fluid Water Therapy our foremost priority is your health. That is why we only use FDA-registered equipment and sterilized, disposable rectal nozzles during our colon hydrotherapy sessions. In addition, we ensure the quality of the water that goes into our clients’ system by utilizing a sophisticated multi-stage water filtration system and double-UV light process that kills water-borne microorganisms.

We are proud to be part of a select group of professional therapists who offer the state-of-the art Angel of Water Surround ® colon hydrotherapy system (“AWS”).  The AWS provides a safe, comfortable, and hygienic colonic irrigation experience. Its mixing valve ensures that the water temperature is maintained between 99 and 103 degrees Fahrenheit — the optimal range for effective intestinal cleansing.

During your first visit to Fluid, you will be asked to complete a health history form in our relaxing waiting room.  This information will help us determine any pre-existing health issues and understand your wellness goals.  After the health history form is completed, you will be led to a private room where a therapist will review your health information with you and explain how the AWS colon hydrotherapy system works.

The therapist will also answer any questions that you may have regarding the process and then provide you with privacy so that you may undress and lie down on the AWS machine. After you position yourself comfortably and insert the rectal nozzle, gravity-fed water will then enter your colon to initiate peristalsis, allowing you to release fecal matter.

During your session at Fluid, you can watch a movie, listen to some soothing music, or simply relax. At the end of the session you will remove the rectal nozzle and lean back into a lounge position to drain the colon. You will then rinse with the AWS’s personal shower spray and towel dry before dressing.

SLIMDOME FAT LOSS TREATMENT

For those looking to lose weight, Slimdome ™ can help promote weight loss by burning calories while you relax in comfort. Slimdome is a spa-based technology that induces the type of sweating usually experienced typically after an intense workout. According to its manufacturer, a 40-minute session can burn upwards of 600 calories and reduces body fat without any physical effort.

The Slimdome uses far infrared emissions (FIR) that penetrate up to 2 inches beneath the skin’s surface and raises the body’s temperature to induce sweating. The use of FIR stimulates the sebaceous glands, which may lead to weight loss by allowing the body to eliminate toxins and fats through oil-based sweating.

The Slimdome resembles a tanning bed.  Users strip down to a bikini or undergarments and lie down on the device. The dome top of the machine is then pulled up over the body, while the head and neck are left uncovered.
