Fluid New York is located in Manhattan’s vibrant and subway-accessible Flatiron District. Fluid is owned and managed by Dr. Francis Gonzalez, an experienced therapist with over 10 years of experience managing colon hydrotherapy clinics. Francis received her Certified Colon Hydrotherapy Instructor designation from the International Association of Colon Therapists. This is the highest certification conferred by I-ACT and is evidence of her knowledge, expertise, and care in the field of colonic therapy.
In addition, as a Doctor of Naturopathy, Francis is able to address a wide array of health-related ailments. These are important credentials for ANY patient looking for colonic therapy, as New York state does not regulate this practice. Unfortunately, most colonic centers in New York are operated by individuals with no formal training about the human body and detoxification pathways. Even worse, most colonic centers in New York utilize inexpensive and unsanitary equipment — so called Woods Gravity colonics — that expose the patient to fecal contamination and discomfort during their session.
At Fluid we work hand in hand with our clients to understand their wellness goals. You will always be able to consult any health-related issues with our certified therapists. Our focus is your entire wellness, not just your intestinal health.
Colon hydrotherapy is a safe, effective method of removing waste from the large intestine without the use of drugs.
At Fluid New York, our foremost priority is your health. That is why, unlike other colonic centers, we only use non-invasive FDA registered equipment and sterilized, disposable speculums during our colonic sessions. In addition, the water that goes into our clients’ intestinal tract undergoes a sophisticated multi-stage water filtration system and double-UV treatment that kills water-borne microorganisms.
Fluid New York is the only professional colon hydrotherapy clinic in Manhattan to offer the state-of-the art Angel of Water Colon Hydrotherapy system. The Angel of Water colonic system provides the safest, most comfortable, and most hygienic colonic irrigation experience available today. This colon hydrotherapy equipment is built with a sophisticated mixing valve that ensures that the water temperature is always maintained between 99 and 103 degrees — the optimal range for effective intestinal cleansing.
During your first visit to Fluid, you will be asked to complete a health history form in our relaxing waiting room. This information will help us determine any pre-existing health issues and understand your needs. Afterwards, you will be led to a private room where a certified therapist will review your health information and explain how the colon hydrotherapy system works.
The therapist will also answer any questions that you may have regarding the process and then provide you with privacy prior to commencing the colonic session. After you position yourself comfortably, gravity-fed water will then enter your colon through a rectal nozzle to initiate the process of releasing gas and fecal matter.
During your session at Fluid, you can watch a movie, listen to some soothing music, or simply relax. At the end of the session you will remove the rectal nozzle and lean back into a lounge position to drain the colon. You will then rinse with a personal shower spray and towel dry before dressing.
Fluid Water Therapy offers customized intravenous therapies, vitamin drips, intramuscular injections, and chelation treatments… right on site! Trained medical professionals provide a full suite of customized, medical-grade IVs for internal detoxification, anxiety support, anti-aging, weight-loss and many other health benefits.
IV fluid therapy delivers vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly into the cells — and more effectively than oral supplements as nutrients bypass the digestive tract and the liver, thus enhancing absorption.
A typical IV session lasts 30 minutes up to a few hours, depending on the patient’s condition, and health protocol being followed. The number of treatments needed also varies by person and condition. Some individuals obtain long-lasting relief after a few treatments, while others require ongoing treatments to maintain the benefit.
